‘It’s not a struggle when you ask for it’ Aryansh Arora shares his experience through life.

‘Struggle first, Win later’ and ‘Struggle is the key’ are some phrases frequently used but Aryansh Arora has a whole different perspective that came out of his 10 year journey as a writer performing everywhere but operating from Basti Uttar Pradesh.

Aryansh Arora’s writing journey began when he was in class 8th. At that time for him poetry was just 2 lines rhyming and by 11th class he was known among his kin that he writes and he writes Good. He got a knack of books in 12th class and he wrote his 1st book in between Pre-boards of 12th. During lockdown he compiled 10 books and co-authored more than 100. When the world was in terror of covid he flew with his pen as a magic wand all around. Since there was no performing culture in Basti, he used to go 200km alone since 2019 from Basti to Lucknow just for a 5 minute paid slot. He was alone in his journey all along.

Aryansh came to Delhi and opted for Du-Sol instead of a regular college just so that he can write and perform on a regular basis. That was his performing prime where he used to perform 6 times in a week 3 slots Saturday and 3 slots Sunday. Aryansh went to Mumbai to perform at The Habitat. His passion was the reason he got 2nd position in all India national poetry summer slam. For family reasons Aryansh Arora came back to Basti in 2024 but no distance could have stopped him from writing. Aryansh writes every night and because of his prolific way of writing he is very consistent on instagram with every 2 new reels Tuesday and Friday. From 2024 to 2025 Aryansh has done 2 solo shows, 5 line-up shows and many mics where he travelled from Basti to Delhi to do so.

When asked about his struggles to keep up with instagram alongside his father’s business set-up he said,’You struggle with something when you don’t like doing that thing. You can’t complain about something that you chose in the first place. I chose writing over everything, social life, college weekends so how can I rant about its struggles. When you do something that you like, there are no struggles, just challenges. I used to struggle while studying just for 3 hours but I don’t struggle when I spent days without sleep just to finish a poem”. He records all his poems in Delhi as Basti does not have a subtle studio. His consistency is the reason many still believe that he’s still living in Delhi or Mumbai.
