Ranjeeta Nath Ghai is the Founder and Director of RNTalks. She is an army BRAT (Born, Raised and Transferred) and wife of Col Rajiv Ghai (retd). Born to a Gujarati mother, Assamese father, she was brought up in New Delhi, married to a Punjabi, and has a rich cultural background. There have been many occasions in my army life when she fretted about her husband’s life when he was involved in operations like Op Vijay and Op Parakram or when he was posted active field areas.

Her life has been enriched by her furry buddies, who, with their unconditional love, have always been a de-stressing factor of her life. Besides being a Founder and Director of RNTalks, she is also a mentor, a blogger, a published author, a graphic designer, and an avid animal lover and activist. Being a foodie, she has her website for recipes and follows her passion for making a variety of homemade pickles on order.

“I have celebrated and lived life on my own terms. Being a passionate and optimistic person, I believe that imperfections are perfect because that is what makes us who we are…a complete being,” says Ranjeeta.

    She is a proud owner of 3 Personal Websites: classicalpoems.com, foodalltime.com & rntalksllp.com excitesubmit.com

Like her husband, she executed her duties as an active member of AWWA, Human NGOs like Sampreshan-Juvenile Home, and Samarthaya, Alwar. She is also a Jury member at Kshitij. Besides human NGOs, she also works with Animal NGOs like PETA (India), FRIENDICOES- Delhi, POSH Foundation- NOIDA, and JEEV AASHRYA, Alwar.

She has dedicated her life to literature and rescuing and relocating stray/wild animals. She is a mother to 3 strays who live on her property and has adopted abandoned dogs SAM, JULIET, BONNIE, NARA and DOVI from Friendicoes and POSH. All of them being terminally ill.

Her story was also published on FRIENDICOES’ official pages. On asking her about it, she said, “Well, after all my three pooches died out of old age, I adopted abandoned and terminally sick dogs from Friendicoes to give them a home, family, and loads of love before they die. I never imagined that I would be the first person in 4 decades to do that…!”

You can read her FRIENDICOES story here https://www.instagram.com/p/CWN7tJMIbkg/?utm_medium=share_sheet

She believes in expressing herself as a motivational speaker, storyteller, poetess, and blogger. Her maiden book, ‘Mann Ki Aarzoo’ was selected and projected in the New Delhi World Book Fair 2016 and Chennai Book Fair 2016. Besides Mann Ki Aarzoo (published book), her other Publications are Twisted Tales anthology of short stories, लम्हों से लफ़्ज़ों तक, संदल सुगंद, भाव कलश, नीलाम्बरा. She is the editor and author of the anthology VERVE – Stories That Reflects Contemporary India of a New Era.

Prestigious feathers in her cap include ‘Ideal Teacher Award’- APS Nasirabad, ‘Pride of Women Award’- Aagaman, Delegate Speaker and Awardee’ Purrfect Pawsome Philanthropist Poet & Author’ at ICDL, 2019, Harmony 2019 ‘Blogger of the Year’ award by RevUp Group, ‘Inspiring Blogger of the Year’ award by MSTalks, ‘Award of Honour’ by Kshitij, and Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan award for 25 years of mentoring by MENTORx and Best Educationist and Mentor Award by The Crazy Tales in Women’s Conclave & Awards 2020, Social Media Star Awards for Inspiring Lives By World Social Media Awards, Wonder Mom Award by Motherhood Club, National Education and Excellence Award by Mother India Care, and Woman Excellency Platinum of India International Award 2022 by AKFS CLUB under Project Balika Vidya.

As a mentor for 26+ years, Ranjeeta Nath Ghai is very passionate about girls’ child education. She has regularly supported girls from humble backgrounds in completing higher education and learning life skills to be financially independent.

According to Ranjeeta, “Every girl must be educated today because this world has become a village where everyone needs to contribute equally irrespective of their capabilities and the nature of work they choose for themselves.”

She has established herself as an entrepreneur with many awards to her name for outstanding contributions to the education sector. She believes that women are very much capable of managing the home front and still earning for themselves.

“I’m glad that people are starting to see the importance of adopting a sustainable lifestyle. Of course, I am not implying that everyone should eat vegetables and start riding their bike everywhere. Still, you might consider eating less meat and only driving when necessary,” says Ranjeeta on leading a sustainable lifestyle.

“I feel proud today to have received Woman Excellency Platinum of India International Award 2022 by AKFS CLUB under Project Balika Vidya. Being honoured with this sustainable and recycled award is unique for me as it does not use any virgin materials and promotes the idea of circular economy, which is the need for a better future,” says Ranjeeta.
