food products and commenced from spices and condiments range.
The company was started with a goal to provide a top-notch quality spice to Indian consumers
which are at par with export levels. The spice and condiments market in India is enormous
and all the prominent brands hold less than 50% market share so the potential in this area is
huge. On the other hand, quality is something which is not there with every brand other than
few good ones.
Under the brand name NUTRINDA®, the company launched the Non-GMO (Non-Genetically
Modified) spices range for the Indian market. The uniqueness of the products is that every
batch is tested to ensure that no genetic engineering was conducted to alter the true
characteristic of the product. Not only this, but there is also a strict quality program in the
company where every batch is tested various physical parameters, metal contaminants,
pesticides residue, microbiological and additional quality parameters such as Lead Chromate,
Sudan Dyes I, II, III, IV, and much more with relevant provisions in food safety and standards
Before the launch of every product, a proper shelf-life study was conducted followed by a
conclusion report to reach the use-by date. The decision for mentioning the time duration for
the product shelf-life is completely based on scientific evidence.
Not only India, but the company is also committed to its export arm as well because of the
huge demand for Indian spices across the globe.
Perhaps it is the first company in India or among the very few ones, who are claiming the
testing provisions on the product packs itself making consumers aware about the GMO and
other important factors for the healthy & hygienic food and it is all possible because of the
company’s focus on the quality and testing intention that is applied on every batch it produces.
Nutrinda Food Sciences® is also a recognized start-up under the ‘Food and Beverages’ Sector
by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal
Trade, Government of India under Start-up India scheme due to its out of the box approach to
improve existing products/services for India.
The company is in a stable expansion phase and will be completing 2 years soon. The brand
has managed to penetrate the highly competitive market of spices and condiments because
of its quality-driven products.
The vision is not only quality but also awareness to the consumer that we are committed to
continuing via various channels. We have set up a state-of-the-art technology-driven
production unit at Gautam Buddha Nagar region in Uttar Pradesh as we always wanted an in-
house production rather than a private label or a contract manufacturing. Not only the spices
