Film Directors are those experts who, with their skill and talent and creative minds take us to another world by turning a script in their films. We love to spend an afternoon or an evening in the dark of the movie theatre, watching their work and at times applauding too. In a few instances, we get carried away with positive emotions embedded in the story like a laugh, cry, scowl, gulp, cheer and when the credits begin to roll, we find out that we are simply a little one of a kind than the way we were two hours earlier.
This is the story of one such spirited and talented guy who grew up in Gwalior. He got highly enchanted and developed a unique view by watching movies like Roma, Cast Away, Children of Heaven, The Color of Paradise, The Song of Sparrow, Gang of Wasseypur, Trapped, Masaan, Udaan, Mulk, Article 15 and who today is himself geared up with directing movies. Director Yassh (Yash) Razwardhan AKA Yogesh Raj, who earlier helmed winning short films Ishaq Murabba, Pitah, Noodles, Housewife and many more, is now all set to make a move with his next grand feature film. Yassh has a lot of fascinating insight into the filming process. He focused on his motivation to create something extraordinary, which made him convert his dream into becoming a director, which is more than inspiring.
The movie is all on its way to being shot in 2022, where Pre-production has been going in full swing. The desired location of the film is finalized to be shot in Lucknow and nearby cities with the caste of some local artists along with some B town actors.
Director Yassh Razwardhan’s earlier project included one of the megahit short movies, “Ishaq Murabba,” which had won many National & International awards and ran successfully on Multiple OTT Platforms like Mx Player, Airtel Xstream & Hungama Play. The story revolved around the life of a wife who is very possessive of her husband and doesn’t want her husband to get into other relationships even after her death. The film starred many talented actors like Saheem Khan (Crime Patrol Fame), Lokesh Mittal (Sui Dhaga Fame), Sanghmitra Kaushik, Shilpa Verma and Nidhi Thakur playing the lead character, produced by Pooja Yassh (Yash) Razwardhan & Sheela Jai Narayan, Cinematography by Nadeem Ansari and Assisted by Ajay Talreja, Yog Razwarhan and Aditya Shakya.
When asked about his inspiring journey, to begin with, he always wanted to create something in the form of art. Growing up, he had always watched many movies that helped him develop that undeniably powerful impulse to create a story, which triggered him to say ‘what I really want is to direct only’ and shape his career as a filmmaker. He left Gwalior in the year 2007 as he was crazy about films, stories. His first two desire of storytelling in the form of direction has been fulfilled.
