NEW DELHI: India on Monday registered 37,154 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 724 people also succumbed to the virus, as per the data updated by the health ministry.
39,649 patients also recovered from the virus during the last 24 hours, taking total recoveries past the three-crore mark.

3,08,74,376 cases have now been reported in India so far while a total of 3,00,14,713 people have recovered from it since the pandemic began last year.
The daily positivity rate, at 2.59%, remains below 3% for the 21st consecutive day. The active cases meanwhile, now constitute 1.46% of total cases. The overall death toll from the virus is now 4,08,764.
Overall, 37.73 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far in the country.
