Launched on Feb 5, 2018, this venture aims at serving its customers with food products free from Refined Sugar and Salt, Refined Oil, Ajinomoto, Maida, MSG and any other chemicals. The brand started with just ten products and 15+ customers, and four years forward, they have successfully processed over two Lakh orders. Every single day is of importance at Farm 2 Home as their products are also consumed by several tiny toddlers, elderly people, diabetic patients, cancer affected kids and adults who feel a huge difference in their health after consuming their products.

The Brand Building
Building a brand from scratch requires long-term planning, research, creativity and commitment. ‘Farm 2 Home – A Mom’s Promise’ – didn’t begin with the aim of expanding, or building a name, instead it was confined to the walls of Ms. Genslin’s kitchen.
Determined to cut down the intake of processed food in her family which occupied almost all the shelves in her kitchen, her desire to replace them with natural ingredients which are known and trusted for ages is what started the dynamic process of building ‘Farm 2 Home – A Mom’s Promise’.
Ms. Genslin Vinodh’s husband was the motivating spirit behind this creative idea who helped her navigate new spaces and build a strong customer base. She stands overjoyed with the results of the efforts they put in and the consistent growth which has landed them a 95% repeat customer rate, which she believes is a milestone for any business owner.
Curating the perfect delicious recipe was the most difficult challenge faced by Farm 2 Home. Since all recipes are self-learnt, trial and error was a part of their daily routine until they achieved the desired taste. One such incident was when customers asked for a replacement of rose milk syrup’s ingredients without using any artificial flavour or colour. Farm 2 Home came up with the new Rose beet Syrup which was made using Organic Paneer Rose Petals for aroma and Beetroots for adding the natural soft pink colour. It took almost two months of trial and error to finalize the ratio and quantity of ingredients to be used and it was the 23rd time Ms. Genslin got the perfect recipe.
At that moment, Ms. Genslin felt that hard work never fails and she launched the rose beet syrup. Confident about the taste and quality, the syrup was a total hit as its sales numbered 5000 bottles in the first year itself. Ms. Genslin lives by the principle of customer satisfaction and curates every product with careful attention so that there is no room for negative reviews.

The Venturesome Owner
The thirty-three years old, Chennai based enterprise owner Ms. Genslin Vinodh is an Engineer by profession. She strongly believes that the food we eat can either nourish us or destroy us. Thus her passion led her to become a certified Nutrition Expert and Holistic Wellness Coach. Ms. Genslin reckons that some birds are not meant to be caged as their feathers are just too bright and believes that her journey would be an inspiration for many women trying to achieve success in the entrepreneurial field.
Striking a balance between work and home is an occurrence most people fail at. This responsibility increases manifold adding a layer of complexity for working women because of the additional responsibilities bestowed upon them. In such a situation, it is common to lose sight while juggling between duties that require undivided attention. According to Ms. Genslin, what truly matters is the ability to stay focused on achieving our goal.
