Titled ‘Never Ask For A Kiss’ by Srishti Publishers, it follows how young lovers navigate the tricky path of love, both in the past and present. The book was launched on 18th November 2022 as the author engaged in an intimate chat with readers at Crossword Bookstores, Kemps Corner.
Abhishek’s first novel recorded great sales amidst the pandemic and became one of 2020’s bestsellers. Having given a slice-of-life romance amidst a crisis, the author now hopes to bring new shades of love, self-discovery and understanding relationships to his readers. ‘Never Ask For A Kiss’ is a story of people interconnected through love and the choices they make. The writer has touched upon the sensitive subject of consent through a new lens.
Launching the book, the author, Abhishek Bhaskar Vichare shared “The success my first book earned has encouraged me to discover and tell stories in which the reader can find themselves. My second book is beyond a story about love, it will compel the reader to dig deeper than the surface and think about various facets of relationships. The characters are common people with stories you will have debatable emotions about. With a background in marketing, business and tech, Abhishek has distinct educational qualifications including an M.S in Mobile and Satellite communication from London University U.K among others.
