You would be excited to know that Pitaara TV, has launched its new OTT platform “chaupal”. Chaupal becomes one of the leading streaming app where you can get access to various web series and movies in three different languages i.e. Punjabi, Haryanvi, and Bhojpuri. The app features many original movies and web series. How it can be possible that we are talking about chaupal and not mention one of the most intense and enormous movie “CHEHRA”. It got exclusively launched on 10th June 2022 on none other than the leading platform “chaupal”. Chehra is a 2022 Punjabi thriller action film written and directed by Akash Jassal.
The movie’s lead actor Arundeep will make you astonished and will surely give you goosebumps with his acting skill in the movie. No other person could do justice to the character said the director of a movie. The character has been played with utmost perfection and impeccability by Arundeep, who is from a theater background shows how passionate he is about acting and how effortlessly he gets into the role. He has made a few debuts in the film industry and has shown his eye-catching acting skills.
Arundeep is a fresh talent in the industry, whose acting journey got began as soon he was born. As his mom can see the potential in him since he was born and wants him to do something extraordinary in life, and mom’s wish never fails. The person who thought of becoming a pilot once and choose aeronautics in college get into acting. Destiny has something else planned for him. But success does not come easy as it seems to be. As he was not from a film industry background, he had no connections to work. He still did his Master’s in Theater from Punjab University, Patiala as he has affirmed belief in himself. In the initial years, Arun has seen struggles that made him work as a Zomato delivery boy and worker in a small store, but Arun survived it all with confidence in himself that he will achieve success in his life one day.
It was in 2017 that he realized his talent for anchoring and worked for PU mirror. And from the connection at PU, he got his first small role in Vadda Greal’s 2017 song ‘Amli Union”. And in terms of Tv shows. His first role was in Zee Punjabi’s serial “Vilayti Bhabhi” in which he played the role of comic character ‘Dollar’ who was shown as a sidekick of ‘cherry’. In 2018, he came across GhaintPunjab where the showed his acting skill in ‘ki Main Jhooth Bolya’ with them. After a pause from leaving Chandigarh and moving to Patiala to again come back to Chandigarh, he got a chance to showcase himself in the show ‘Geri Song Of the week’, and side by side he was shooting for the web series ‘Range’. As far as ‘Range’ is concerned, he plays the character of ‘Goli’ which was another comic character.
And like every struggling artist, finally, he got his hand in the movie ‘Chehra’ where he is performing the lead role of a psychic character who can cross any limit to get fame. It is one of the most challenging character to handle. But Arundeep effortlessly did justice to the role. The shooting was not easy, there were lots of ups and down while shooting for Chehra, but the hard work pays off.
The journey of Arundeep doesn’t end here, it is just the beginning. You will soon see him working on different projects. He is one of the most talented artists who never lose hope.
